Eric McCabe - Vice President
Eric McCabe has a long career in launching and managing game changing start-up organizations in growing industries. With deep experience raising both private and public equity with multiple successful exits, Mr. McCabe has the experience and skills to manage organizations and projects through their various challenges and opportunities.
Most recently, Mr. McCabe was a Partner with Ideas and Plans, LLC, an organization focused on matching early stage wireless, internet and application companies with larger telecoms infrastructure and private equity partners. Prior to becoming a Partner, Mr. McCabe was a member of the founding management team for Jumptap in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
As Vice President of Marketing, Mr. McCabe launched the company in both North America and Europe, and grew Jumptap to become the leading mobile search and advertising provider to mobile operators. Jumptap was recently sold to Millenial Media (NYSE: MM)
Mr. McCabe has served on the board of directors of the Location Interoperability Forum, a global industry body for the creation of standards in the wireless location industry.
Mr. McCabe also launched and was the Chairman of the Mobile Search Working Group in the Mobile Marketing Association. Mr. McCabe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
